Welcome back to our "Lab Practices" workshops! This School Year we are in the 4th level of Primary Education. Today, we have studied the "Phases of the Moon" putting together TICs, "healthy habits" and "social sciences". What a better way to learn having fun! Enjoy the lesson!

Hi everybody, I would like to thank you for your excellent work you have been developing during last week about our Natural Sciences Project so called "THE WEATHER FORECAST". We have connect English, Natural and Social Sciences together! I am so proud of you! -English: syntactic - discourse structures expressing weather and weather forecast as well as vocabulary regarding this Unit. -Natural Sciences: how weather is forecast and predicted -Social Sciences: geographical maps, maps, ... But the most important aspect is the competences we have developed: - Digital Competence: looking information on AEMT, using the camera, recording clips... - Learn to learn and autonomous competence: interpreting and placing icons about weather. - Linguistic Competence: interpreting, translating and expresion in english with both verbal and non verbal languages. Hello my dear students: Today we have prepared a lab-experiment about the current topic on Natural Sciences: "A lemon Battery" As we concluded, there is a scientific explanation for turning on the watch: There is a chemical reaction between the steel in the zinc plated screw and the potato/lemon juice. There is also a chemical reaction between the copper and the lemon juice. These chemical reactions push electrons through the wires. Because the two metals are different, the electrons get pushed harder in one direction than the other. If the metals were the same, the push would be equal and no electrons would flow. Hello my dearest students, I attach a couple of pictures about the third lab practice we did last monday regarding how our Respiratory System works. And remember that we are able to breathe because there is a negative preassure creates for the muscle so called diafragme. This muscle pumps down air into our lungs... Querídos alumnos/as: En los próximos días vamos a tener dos test para terminar los temas 3 de inglés (Question Tags) y el tema 1 de Sociales (The Future) centrándonos en la parte de las Fuentes de Energía Renovables. Para la vuelta del Puente, empezaremos con el Tema 2 de Natural Sciences, donde veremos´: -Fisiología -Componentes del Aire -Funcionamiento -Espcial detalle a los pulmones y al intercambio que se produce allí oxígeno/co2 -Algunas prevenciones enfermedades respiratorias -Lab-Practice, ya de moda entre nosotros y qué tanto esperáis. My dearest students, all...queridas familias...aqui os presentamos la 2ª Práctica de Laboratorio de este curso, "A Solar Cooking System" que se enmarca dentro de, por un lado el Tema 1 de Sociales "El Futuro" y por otro lado "El Proyecto de Escuelas Sostenibles de la Comunidad de Madrid" del que nuestro Centro Participa. Pero os preguantaréis qué han aprendido vuestros hijos/as: a) Sostenibilidad y responsabilidad hacia el Planeta Tierra b) Fuentes de energía renovables y no, y sus características ppales. c) Propiedades de física de la luz y temperatura (cómo los rayos solares inciden..) d) A trabajar colaborativamente e) A aprender a aprender. Buenas tardes, estimadas familias y alumnos/as: Mañana es un día ¡especial! Nuestro Cole da un salto importante de calidad con la experimentación tangible de las primeras prácticas de laboratorio. Es un compromiso del Programa Bilingüe, la integración y apoyo de las CCNN y CCSS a través de las Arts. Así que los/as alumnos/s increíbles de sexto y quinto de Primaria han decidido poner en práctica el estupendo trabajo ABP y Flipped Classroom que están llevando a Cabo (100%) de aprobados en ambas clases e ir más allá con esta actividad.
